Soojin’s work is focused equally on aesthetics and concept. Having various fashion backgrounds in pattern cutting, prints and hand crafting, Kang seeks a perfect balance between emotional connections and commercial result by creating new furniture collection and objects.
Soojin Kang invites people to share in her unique approach to create textile sculptures from a chosen object, to change its identity as well as find pleasure in the process of stitching.

In the workshop "Objects Reloaded" we will make jewellery pieces with the starting point in an individual found object. Throughout history jewellery has been made from found objects, the very starting point of jewellery, the oldest found piece, was made from shells found in nature.
